Outfit Of The Day (Faux Fur And Yellow Pumps And Tiger Faces, Oh My!)

Here I am!  Again!  Kinda!

Colorado had its first blast of winter this weekend, with about 5 inches of (extremely) heavy snow.  Blah!  Gross!  I'm so not ready for this!



Except..I kind of am ready for this.  It's always fun hauling out winter sweaters, coats, and jackets and wearing them for the first time, isn't it? Whether it's for the first time ever...or simply the first time in a few months, it's fun to have some "new" pieces to play with.

Speaking of some new pieces--how pretty is the Audra bracelet from Kendra Scott? I had been searching high and low for something to soothe my obsessive compulsive freaky-matchy-matchy matchiness go with my yellow pumps--and I had nearly given up. This bracelet is perfect! And while it appears to be no longer available to purchase online, the Petra bracelet is similar or you can head over to the (overwhelmingly huge) color bar to design your own.

    I have the Marc Jacobs Cooper and love it! The only thing I'm not loving is the strap. Do you have to constantly fiddle with the double strap so that they're touching each other? If that makes sense..

    That belt looks amazing. I would love to get it in blue and orange and wear them together :D

    Fortunately for me, I'm heading away from winter. It's still way too cold for shorts or skirts without thick tights, but I am enthusiastically swapping my four layers of jerseys for just two! Maybe it'll even reach one layer soon.

    Ooh...Mum suggested I try a perm as my next hairstyle...but I don't know if that's quite the look I'd be going for (though I'd love the Homemade Knitted Tiger Face Sweater™). You wouldn't have had a perm when older that looked a little more grown up that you could show me pictures of, would you?

    I would not be happy if I had snow already, but we're still clear here in Indiana! I have a pair of yellow flats that look a lot like those - I always gets lots of comments. Love them!!

    I love to pull out my sweaters, tights, and boots too! But I am also just as happy to put them away and pull out all my summer stuff. It's nice to be able to change up your wardrobe a couple times a year because of the weather. At least we can't get bored of anything!

    I love that Topshop coat! I actually wanted to purchase it, but it wasn't warm enough and I thought it wasn't worth it for the price. It looks great on you!!

    OMG girl...I busted out laughing when I saw your first pose! Seriously 5" of snow....already? Atleast I hear it melts fast in Denver, in Chicago...well once the snow hits we're doomed until April! I had a perm like that in the 6th grade...and that sweater..it's pretty awesome, I had a similar one with tweety :)

    ugh. you may hate the snow but i'd love a bit of your cold weather down here (still in the 90's! hooray! gross.)

    i really love the warm colors that you seem to gravitate to. i used to only buy cool colors but now, thanks in part to you, i've been grabbing more orange/rust/pecan-y hues. ♥

Chloe, Colorful Colorado. 5'8" (only) when teetering in her highest 6 inch Miu Miu platform heels.
