Nanette Lepore Dress Me Up Top
This is like Nanette's sophisticated-little-take on the Necklace Tees J Crew is doing- if you look at the back, you will see what I mean. I love how simple yet lovely this top is; it's always the little details that make Nanette Lepore so freaking awesome. I know this top will look fabulous, and I don't even need to try it on first. I'm magical! And Nanette Lepore is amazing, hooray.

J Crew Keaton Tuxedo Cardigan
That's right, a tuxedo cardigan, readers. And while J Crew has pretty much given me nothin' except a hurty-headachey-head lately (OH HELLO THERE MISBUTTONED POSY BLOUSE OF AWFULNESS, UGH), I think this winterized take on a black blazer is pretty much awesome. A+ on this one, J Crew, even if you get a fail on all of the (overpriced! anemic-colored!) rest right now.

Ann Taylor Rosette Halter Dress
So I know the rosette ship has already sailed on the high waters of trendiness, but this kind of makes me want to change my name to "Rose" and wear things that only have rosettes or roses on them. Kind of like Rose off of Two and a Half Men, I suppose except without the stalking the bawdy Charlie Harper played by the even bawdier Charlie Sheen bit, 'cuz you know. Uh. Ew.

Kimchi Blue Ice Skater Coat
I was pleased when I peeked into Urban Outfitters' most recent catalog; the typically gritty-hipster-and-OMG-who-doesn't-love-paying-$80-for-a-top-with-holes-already-ripped-into-it seems to be taking notes from its sister store, Anthropologie- it's gotten much prettier as of late. I'm typically not an overall fan of coats with hoods (they make me feel a bit too twee), but don't you just want to snuggle into this coat like a blanket? And the green color (pictured on the website) is especially divine, mmhm.

For those days where you feel like dropping an easy $6,600 on a fun little frock to feel fancy in while you bake cupcakes or iron the clothes or force your two pet chihuahuas to reenact your favorite scenes (in french!) from Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie, all while having a tea party with your favorite stuffed animals. You know- just the mundane and boring stuff we all do on our days off from work.
(But still- so pretty!)
